Athletes of the Month

Boys Basketball - Spencer Vering, 10^th

Spencer is growing as a leader on the team for the Crusaders. He was selected to the All-Tournament Team at the Eagle Holiday Tournament.

Girls Basketball - Cardedra Evans, 12^th

Cardedra very rarely came out of any of the games played. The team competed in its most competitive December schedule in which there were physical games that took some of her teammates out of the games, but she continued to be out there giving 100 percent. Cardedra leads the team in offensive rebounds (49) and is one of the top scorers on the team.

Boys Soccer - Jordan Chavez, 9^th

Jordan is the starting central defender for our Varsity team. He has led our team defensively and is one of the leaders on the team.

Girls Water Polo -  Colleen Ratcliff, 10^th

Colleen is the unequivocal leader of the girl's water polo team. Her leadership, work ethic, and pure athletic ability are not only an example for her fellow teammates, but allows them to grow and learn from her knowledge and experience.

Wrestling - Alejandro Rivera

Alejandro has begun this season with some excellent exhibition matches and a 5^th place finish at Mar Vista’s Battle by the Beach tournament. He consistently wrestles tough competitors with a tenacity that has earned him the respect of other coaches in the county.
