At the beginning of the season these two girls were just starting to play competitively and worked harder than any other doubles team to improve their play. These two are opposites in many ways but during the season they became close friends worked exceptionally hard at their task. They have grown into a team and will be one of the catalysts for next season.

Avery, an opposite hitter is poised and consistent and she provides great serves and the focus that is needed during pressure situations. Avery is a hustler and looks to be a huge asset to the Mater Dei defense and a threat next year as a senior.
