Planned Giving
• Will/Bequest: Naming Mater Dei Catholic High School as a beneficiary in your will can provide estate tax savings for your heirs, allow you full use of your assets during your lifetime and give you the satisfaction of helping Mater Dei in the future.
• Charitable Remainder Trusts: By creating a charitable remainder trust, you can make a tax-deductible contribution and retain an income for you or for others you designate for a set number of years or for the lifetime of you or a loved one. A charitable remainder trust can be funded with cash, appreciated securities or real estate.
• Gift Annuities: Arranging a gift annuity enables you to make a gift to Mater Dei Catholic High School and receive payments on a regular basis for the rest of your life. In the year when your annuity is established, you are entitled to a tax deduction for a portion of your gift.
• Life Insurance: One of the simplest and most convenient ways to give a planned gift is through life insurance. An irrevocable gift of life insurance can result in a tax deduction for the paid premiums or the fair market value of the policy, whichever is less.
