Andrew is a 6’1 Junior utility player who leads the Aqua Crusaders in goals with 14. Andrew carries a 3.6 grade point average and is also a member of the drama club. Congratulations Andrew!
These girls are both Freshman and have never played together in doubles. Even so, they have won every set they have played in against the best doubles players from Hilltop, Eastlake and OLP. They are unstopable together! Congratulations Luz and Lynn!
She has played in six matches this September and leads the team in scoring average and was the medalist in her match against Otay Ranch High School. Perla is the team captain and leads by example and is the model for her teammates. She works hard at her game and listens carefully when given advice to make her game better. Congratulations Perla!
Laura Soto is an outstanding volleyball player. She always comes to practices with a strong work ethic that follows her onto game day. She has proven herself to be a team leader on and off the court. While always trying to improve her skills, she shows the underclassman that dedication and 100% commitment is the only way to better yourself in volleyball and in life. Sam has been a great leader for the MDCHS XC team. Team captain and lead runner, Sam has shown strong commitment and dedication to the team. Sam is a senior and has been part of the XC team for 2 years.
Pat has been a real work horse for the football team so far this season. Playing wide receiver on offense and CB on defense Pat rarely leaves the field. His highlight touchdown catch against Saints showed his big play potential. Pat is a leader both on the field and off. Congratulations Pat!
