Hands on learning is the key to teaching sciences at Mater Dei Catholic High School (MDCHS). From kayaking in the Pacific Ocean to release Pacific White Sea Bass raised in our classrooms, to building an “Earth Bench” while learning the sustainable engineering concepts of building while reducing waste and pollution, our students get to touch, grow, build, and breathe science using S.T.E.A.M. education principles.
You can help create more hands-on experiences for MDCHS students. Each $300 donation can help fund life-changing experiences.
S.T.E.A.M. is a commitment to seamlessly combining Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math to create engaging lessons.
