Anticipated Absences

Whenever the family knows of an absence in advance, the family must complete an anticipated absence form and submit for approval to the principal.

Pick-Up and Drop-Offs

Drop-Offs

Parents must park at the Mater Dei Church parking lot.
Parents should walk their student to school past the DePaul center in the direction of the Guadalupe Center.
Parents arrive at the black wrought iron gate (Gate 1) and drop-off their student at the gate.
Student supervision will start at 8:00 am. No student should be dropped off prior to this time. If you arrive prior to 8:00am, parents must remain with their children. Any student who needs to be dropped off earlier than 8:00 am must be checked in at Lima 4 for MDCE’s before school care program as a part of ECEP (Extended Care Enrichment Program).
Parents may drop-off students at the roundabout starting at 8:05 am, but they may not park for any amount of time at the roundabout. This is due to safety concerns. Students who are dropped off at the roundabout will enter (Gate 2).
Parents are expected to be a model of respect and dignity during interactions with school personnel tasked with enforcing these guidelines.
The gates to the campus will close at 8:20am.

Pick-Ups

Older siblings must be at least juniors in high school or older to pick up elementary students.
Parents must park at the Mater Dei Church parking lot.
Parents may queue their students for pickup by using the DashPass app, or request their student manually by asking the staff member present at Gate 2.
Parents should walk to Gate 2 in front of the roundabout to wait for their children.
Parents can wait outside the Guadalupe Center starting at 2:50 pm, but no earlier.
Students who are queued will be lined up by grade level awaiting the authorized individual to pick-up.
Parents may enter the campus to pick-up students at 3:00pm Monday through Thursday and at 12:30 pm on Fridays.
Once a parent picks up all of their students, they will proceed to the exit through Gate 1.
