Summer School

Welcome to 2025 Summer School!

Whether you are a returning student or a new addition to the Mater Dei family, we are pleased you are joining us this summer. We want all of you to be successful at Mater Dei, and believe that strong communication between students, parents, and teachers is a key part of achieving that goal. In promoting a safe learning environment, we encourage each student to be responsible for themselves and to respect the stakeholders of the Mater Dei Catholic High School community.

Here is quick overview of our Summer School structure:
  • All classes for each session will meet for 4 hours per day
  • Credit recovery courses are completed in one (1) session

  • Students are able to take only one (1) credit recovery class per session with the exception of theology courses which are independent study courses

  • Advancement courses are completed in two (2) sessions
  • Fall semester material will be covered in Session 1
  • Spring semester material will be covered in Session 2
*This will allow students taking a full year course to learn the material sequentially
  • Incoming freshman classes will be offered during both sessions and consists of both Math and English fundamental courses
This is to prepare freshman students for high school
  • With such a condensed schedule, understanding the absence and tardy policies is very important, so please take note of them
