With a diverse array of 16 classes and two challenging AP courses, our comprehensive art program opens a world of possibilities for artistic exploration and growth in various mediums—from painting and sculpture to experimental mixed media and digital art.
Our VAPA curriculum provides a rich tapestry of offerings, from the fundamentals in Intro to Art to advanced techniques in Studio Art, Graphic Design, Digital Art, and Computer Graphics. Students can also explore the three-dimensional realm of 3D modeling, where imagination takes form. Students bring ideas to life in hands-on projects, crafting intricate models, captivating characters, and creating immersive environments. These programs help our students develop the skills necessary for careers in animation, game design, and augmented reality. Through our digital arts program, students learn how to merge their artistic vision with digital proficiency by mastering industry-standard software and tools to craft visually compelling projects as innovative, confident, and expressive artists.
In our film studies program, students delve into the rich history, theory, and techniques of filmmaking. They refine their skills in screenwriting, directing, editing, and cinematography, gaining a deep understanding of cinematic storytelling.
