Helping You On Your Path to Citizenship
Our citizenship class is designed to prepare individuals for the U.S. naturalization process. The course focuses on key topics and skills essential for passing the citizenship test and interview.
In the class, students learn:
- Understanding the Naturalization Process: An overview of the steps required to become a U.S. citizen, including eligibility criteria and application procedures.
- Civics Education: Information about U.S. history, government structure, rights, and responsibilities of citizens.
- Test Preparation: Skills for the citizenship test, including reading, writing, listening, and speaking exercises that help students complete application forms and confidently participate in the interview.
Classes are interactive and may include group discussions, practice tests, and personalized support to ensure students feel prepared for their citizenship journey.
Additionally, for students eligible to take the naturalization test in Spanish—based on their age and duration of permanent residency—JDAC offers specialized classes conducted in their native language.
